About Daleville and the Land It Sits On

Daleville is a community in southern Botetourt County, just north of Roanoke. It runs along U.S. Route 220, which is Roanoke Road through here. Interstate 81 runs past it too, and Exit 150 is the one signed for Troutville, Daleville, Fincastle and Cloverdale.

The ZIP code is 24083, and the Daleville post office is inside the community, but some Daleville addresses carry the Troutville ZIP, 24175.

The Appalachian Trail crosses Route 220 on the south end of Daleville. Lord Botetourt High School is here, and so is Nininger's Mill, which is on the National Register of Historic Places. On the north side, the Botetourt Center at Greenfield is a large business park that also holds county government offices and the space where the Board of Supervisors meets.

Daleville Town Center is a newer neighborhood built to be walked, with homes, shops and restaurants tied together by sidewalks and trails.
